1. Our Commitment
Corestack Digital Ltd is committed to making the TDolls platform accessible to as many people as possible, including those with disabilities, impairments, or additional needs. We aim to make the Platform perceivable, operable, understandable, and robust for all users.
We acknowledge that accessibility is an ongoing process and that the current Platform may not yet meet all accessibility standards in every area. This statement sets out our current position, known limitations, and our plans for improvement.
2. Applicable Standards
We aim to meet the requirements of the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA. These guidelines are the internationally recognised standard for web accessibility and form the basis of:
- The EU Web Accessibility Directive (Directive 2016/2102/EU), which applies to public sector bodies and increasingly informs best practice for private sector platforms accessible to EU users
- Accessibility requirements under Gibraltar law
- Best practice expectations for commercial platforms operating in the UK and EEA
Although TDolls is a privately operated commercial platform and is not subject to the EU Web Accessibility Directive as a public sector obligation, we adopt WCAG 2.1 AA as our target standard as a matter of policy.
3. Current Accessibility Features
The Platform is designed with the following accessibility features:
Visual
- Text can be resized up to 200% using standard browser controls without loss of content or functionality
- Colour contrast ratios meet or exceed WCAG 2.1 AA requirements for normal and large text
- The Platform does not rely on colour alone to convey information
- Alternative text is provided for informative images
- Decorative images are marked to be ignored by assistive technology
- Responsive design supports browser zoom and magnification without horizontal scrolling at up to 400% zoom
Navigation
- All functionality is accessible via keyboard
- ARIA labels are provided on interactive elements to support screen readers
- Focus indicators are visible throughout the Platform
- Skip navigation links are provided to allow keyboard users to bypass repeated elements
- Page structure uses semantic HTML with appropriate heading hierarchy
- Landmark regions (header, main, footer, navigation) are correctly labelled
Content
- Page language is declared in HTML to support screen readers
- Form fields have associated labels
- Error messages are descriptive and identify the affected field
- Required fields are clearly indicated
Motion and interaction
- The Platform respects the user's operating system preference to reduce motion where the
prefers-reduced-motionmedia query is supported - No content flashes more than three times per second
Documents
This policy document and all other policy documents are provided in Markdown format, which is broadly compatible with assistive technologies. Alternative formats are available on request — see Section 7.
4. Known Limitations
We are aware of the following areas where the Platform does not currently meet WCAG 2.1 AA standards or where accessibility could be improved:
| Area | Limitation | Planned Resolution |
|---|---|---|
| Complex interactive components | Some complex interactive components such as the gallery lightbox and chat interface may have limited screen reader support | Full ARIA audit of all interactive components. Target: Q2 2026 |
| Provider-uploaded images | Alt text for user-uploaded photographs is not always provided by providers | We are developing a prompt within the upload flow to encourage providers to add descriptive alt text. Target: Q3 2026 |
| Live streaming | Live stream captions are not currently available | We are investigating third-party captioning solutions for live content. Target: Q4 2026 |
| Video content | Uploaded video clips do not currently support captions or audio description | Provider-facing guidance and optional caption upload will be introduced. Target: Q3 2026 |
| PDF documents | Some linked third-party documents may not be fully accessible | We are reviewing all externally linked documents. Ongoing |
| Mobile touch targets | Some interactive elements on older mobile screen sizes may fall below the 44x44px touch target size recommendation | Addressed in next platform design update. Target: Q2 2026 |
We are committed to addressing these limitations in order of impact. Our progress against these targets will be reflected in updated versions of this statement.
5. Technical Compatibility
The Platform is designed to be compatible with the following:
Browsers
The Platform supports the current and previous major versions of Chrome, Firefox, Safari, and Edge. We do not support Internet Explorer.
Assistive technologies tested
- NVDA with Chrome (Windows)
- VoiceOver with Safari (macOS and iOS)
- TalkBack with Chrome (Android)
- Browser zoom up to 400% (all supported browsers)
We aim to extend our assistive technology testing coverage as the Platform develops. If you experience issues with an assistive technology not listed here, please let us know.
Operating systems
Windows, macOS, iOS, and Android.
6. Improvements Roadmap
We are committed to continually improving accessibility across the Platform. The following timeline outlines our planned improvements:
| Target | Improvement |
|---|---|
